Un codec audio est un dispositif \u00e9lectronique ou un logiciel informatique capable de coder ou de d\u00e9coder un flux de donn\u00e9es audio. Un codec audio logiciel d\u00e9signe essentiellement un algorithme qui code et d\u00e9code un flux audio en utilisant les ressources d\u2019un appareil ou ordinateur. Un codec audio mat\u00e9riel d\u00e9signe un dispositif qui convertit de l&rsquo;audio analogique en signaux num\u00e9riques et d\u00e9code le num\u00e9rique en analogique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans cet article, nous aborderons les diff\u00e9rents types de codecs vocaux et de codecs d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux fax, ainsi que leur diff\u00e9rence fondamentale par cat\u00e9gorie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/voip.stageweb.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/img1111.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1816\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong>Codecs de voix<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>G.711<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il existe deux variantes du codec G.711&nbsp;: Le G.711u et G.711a. Le G.711u est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 au Japon et en Am\u00e9rique du Nord alors que le G.711a est utilis\u00e9 dans d&rsquo;autres r\u00e9gions du monde. D\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en 1972 le G.711 fait partie des codecs \u00e0 bande \u00e9troite&nbsp;: Il utilise une fr\u00e9quence d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillonnage de 8 kHz pour un d\u00e9bit de 64 Kbit\/s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le d\u00e9bit de 64 Kbit\/s correspond \u00e0 la quantit\u00e9 de bande passante requise par votre connexion Internet pour traiter les donn\u00e9es d\u2019un appel t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique par seconde. Il est \u00e0 noter que les donn\u00e9es G.711 ne sont pas compress\u00e9es ce qui fait que le d\u00e9bit binaire de 64 Kbit\/s est assez grand comparativement \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres codecs qui utilisent des techniques de compression pour r\u00e9duire la bande passante requise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>G.722<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lanc\u00e9 en 1988 comme codec \u00e0 large bande, le G.722 tente am\u00e9liore le codec G.711 en augmentant sa fr\u00e9quence d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillonnage et sa compression. Le codec G.722 utilise une fr\u00e9quence d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillonnage de 16 kHz avec 14 bits par \u00e9chantillon. Comme le codec commence avec un d\u00e9bit non compress\u00e9 de 224 Kbit\/s, il utilise des techniques de compression pour atteindre un d\u00e9bit de 64 Kbit\/s et r\u00e9duire ainsi la quantit\u00e9 de bande passante n\u00e9cessaire par appel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>G.729<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fr\u00e9quemment utilis\u00e9 pour transmettre les appels t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques sur Internet, le G.729 encode la voix en trames. Chacune des trames G.729 dure dix millisecondes et comprend 80 \u00e9chantillons audio. De plus, le d\u00e9bit requis pour une direction pour le codec G.729 est de 8 Kbit\/s. Comme le G.729 offre des capacit\u00e9s de compression plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es, il est possible de passer plus d&rsquo;appels en parall\u00e8le sur la connexion Internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/voip.stageweb.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/img2222-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1818\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>GSM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GSM est l&rsquo;abr\u00e9viation de \u00ab&nbsp;Global System for Mobile Communications&nbsp;\u00bb. Le d\u00e9bit du codec gsm est de 13 Kbit\/s en utilisant le GSM-FullRate ou de 6,5 Kbit\/s en utilisant le GSM-HalfRate. Il est utile de souligner que le codec GSM offre une qualit\u00e9 vocale moindre par rapport aux normes modernes..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong><strong>Comparaison des codecs vocaux<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le G.711 donne la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 du son vu qu\u2019il n&rsquo;effectue aucune compression, par cons\u00e9quent, il n\u00e9cessite plus de bande passante comparativement \u00e0 d\u2019autres codecs tels que le G.729 qui effectue une compression et qui n\u00e9cessite moins de bande passante que le G.711 et le G.722, il faut pr\u00e9ciser qu\u2019en raison de la compression la qualit\u00e9 audio des codecs G.722 et G.729 est moindre que celle du G.711 qui ne compresse pas les donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/voip.stageweb.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/img3333-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1820\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong><strong>Codecs de t\u00e9l\u00e9copie<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il existe diff\u00e9rents types de codecs de fax, nous parlerons ici du T.30 et T.38.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le codec T.30 a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 avant l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e de l\u2019Internet grand public, il est utilis\u00e9 pour la transmission de documents entre appareils sur le RTPC (R\u00e9seau T\u00e9l\u00e9phonique Public Commut\u00e9).
