We would like to notify you of the release of our long-awaited Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). To start leveraging this service with our Messaging Center, head over to your customer portal, then to “DID Numbers” then under “SMS/MMS Message Center”. With the addition of this feature, you may now send messages including pictures, video or audio content to another device for as low as $0.02 per message. Our regular Short Message Service (SMS) feature has been in open beta for an unexpectedly long time and this was the last piece missing to close the loop! Therefore, as of August 1st, 2020, we will start charging a small fee per SMS. As always, VoIP.ms is striving for aggressive and competitive rates, therefore the SMS feature will be available at a low fee of $0.0075 per message. Moreover, to all our Canadian customers who couldn’t get SMS-enabled DIDs in their specific regions, we are delighted to announce that we now support SMS over all our coverage in Canada. While we have multiple projects on the table for our customers, we will keep on working to release new messaging-related features in the coming months! Finally, in the past few months we have been working closely with top-of-the-game providers to increase our coverage (in Canada and in United States) and our overall customer experience. We did not only put our focus on North America, but also started to review our international termination product offering in order to enhance call quality and overall completion rate. As of August 1st, 2020, we will launch an updated rate deck with more coverage and flexibility to meet the growing needs of our customers.
