We now accept incoming SIP URI calls from other networks to VoIP.ms sub accounts. The SIP URI will share the “internal extension” code of your sub account. For this example, we’ll pretend your 6 digits account code is 111111 and your subaccount has internal extension “2” (102 to be reached internally). The device or softphone using this sub account is registering to the New York server. The external SIP URI for this sub account would be [email protected]. There’s a small fee of $0.001 (one tenth of a cent per minute) when using SIP URIs. You can verify the current URI for your sub accounts by clicking on “Manage subaccounts” from the Sub Account tab. If you have any question regarding this new addition, please contact us at [email protected].
