CA2 - Toronto Server - Incoming IP Address Change

Important Information for users of CA2 Toronto SIP and IAX2 server —————————————————————————————– (sip.ca2.voip.ms and iax2.ca2.voip.ms) There will be a change of IP Address on the Toronto Server on November 25th @ 2:00 AM EST. The purpose of this change is to improve the quality of our service to customers using this server. This change will allow us to scale up our capacity transparently for the future and is a change needed to allow new features like the incoming multiple redundant server setup for each POP. ===================== What are the changes? ===================== The IP address for the host sip.ca2.voip.ms and iax2.ca2.voip.ms will be replaced November, Wednesday 25th @ 2:00 AM EST with the following IP address: NEW IP Address: 174.137.63.202 OLD IP Address: 24.102.60.67 =========================== What you may need to modify =========================== ****************************** If you are currently using the IP address of this server directly instead of the hostname to connect to this server (example: you have entered 24.102.60.67 instead of of sip.ca2.voip.ms or iax2.ca2.voip.ms), please update your equipment to send and accept incoming connections from the new IP (174.137.63.202) before November 25th @ 2:00 AM. ****************************** If you are using the hostname (sip.ca2.voip.ms or iax2.ca2.voip.ms), there are no interventions required on your part. However, if you run into incoming call issues after the update, simply power-cycle your VoIP phone or adapter. If you are using a Softphone, like Zoiper or X-Lite, a restart of the software may be required. ******************************* We apologize for the inconvenience and short notice and also thank you for your comprehension.
