Building on our latest infrastructure improvements back in 2019, we initiated a series of network changes aimed towards the overall improvement of our service which will also allow us to provide more features in the coming future. We do not expect any negative impact to the service while the changes are completed, and we are also conducting extensive tests and considerations to make sure of it. As part of these changes, the IP address of some on our POP’s main DNS (Domain Name Server) might change. This change will be visible when you are registering to the main DNS without a number (ex. denver.voip.ms). If you register by DNS to the server by using a specific number, you will not observe any change in the IP address (ex. denver1.voip.ms, denver2.voip.ms). For both cases above where you register by DNS, with or without number, you don’t need to make any changes to your DID numbers configuration and incoming calls will continue to route normally. In the event that you are registering to the main POP DNS without number, by using its IP address instead of its DNS, you may notice that your registration is taking place to our Los Angeles server. This is normal and expected and is related to the series of network changes we are currently doing. We strongly recommend to always register by DNS, however, if you need to register by IP to the main POP DNS, please do it by using the IP address from our first numbered POP (ex. denver1.voip.ms). Currently, the following main DNS are working under our new changes: losangeles.voip.ms vancouver.voip.ms seattle.voip.ms sanjose.voip.ms denver.voip.ms In the unlikely event that you encounter any issue with our service, our technical support team will be available to assist as usual.
